Join us for a special two-part event celebrating the release of Christopher “Isto” White's new book, "Fingerpicking the Great American Songbook."
The Workshop (12:00 pm - 1:30 pm): To bring the music of this book to life, Isto will lead an in-depth workshop on arranging classic songs for solo guitar. You will get a behind-the-scenes look at his specific arranging process and dive into several pieces featured in the new book. Whether you're looking to improve your fingerstyle technique or understand the theory behind the "Great American Songbook," this session offers hands-on insight from a master of the craft.
The Concert (2:00 pm - 3:00 pm): Following the workshop, Isto will take the stage to perform selections from the book, demonstrating the arrangements in a live concert setting.

About Christopher “Isto” White
Christopher "Isto" White is a Syracuse-based guitarist, songwriter, and educator renowned for his virtuosic fingerstyle arrangements and playful baritone. A longtime staple of Brooklyn’s legendary Jalopy Theatre, Isto blends the charm of the Great American Songbook with a deadpan wit that ranges from the deeply introspective to the delightfully absurd.
With 15 albums of original music and a YouTube following of over 26,000 subscribers, his diverse career spans from providing guitar work for Red Dead Redemption 2 to performing in venues across the globe.
